What Are Common Ailments?

Common ailments are uncomplicated health conditions that can be managed with minimal treatment and/or self-care strategies. The conditions are usually short-term, do not require lab results and have a low risk of treatment masking underlying more complex medical conditions.

How Does It Work?

  1. From our booking system select a suitable time.

  2. At the time of your appointment, use the link in your confirmation email to join the zoom call or in case of a phone appointment your consultant pharmacist will call you.

  3. Your consultation will take 10-15 minutes.

  4. Collect the medication(s) from your pharmacy (If any medication is prescribed); or have your medications shipped right to your door for FREE (Ontario wide).

  • Impetigo (skin infection)

  • Insect bites and urticaria (hives)

  • Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease

  • Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy

  • Pinworms and threadworms

  • Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated)
